Ceylone Boothe-Grooms

Ceylone Boothe-Grooms lives in Morganville, New Jersey and won the coveted title of Mrs. New Jersey United States.  Ceylone is very active in her community and is involved with educating women about Cervical Cancer in New Jersey and throughout the United States.  We spoke with Ceylone about her reign and what is coming up in her future… 

How does it feel to be Mrs. New Jersey United States? 
I am so honored to be Mrs. New Jersey United States and represent the state that I love so much! 

What are your plans for the year? 
My plans for the year are to help as many people as I can while making a positive impact in my community. I want to promote my platform by educating people on the importance of early detection of Cervical Cancer. I also want encourage women of all ages to believe in themselves and follow their dreams. 

What do you like to do for fun?  
For fun I love to go camping with my family, cook big dinners, watch movies, play board games, and just have loads of fun with all the people I love.

What do you like about competing in pageants?   
I like competing in pageant because it challenges you to be the best you can as you showcase your intellect, talents, style and passion. You also get to meet wonderful people who share common interest.

Where do you see yourself after graduating from high school or 5 years from now? 
Five years from now my goal is to have a make-up and skin care line aimed to help women look and feel their best in a short amount of time.

How has winning the title changed your life? 
Winning the title changed my life because it has allowed me to reach so many people from all walks of life and I have learned something from each and every one of them.

What is your main purpose in life? 
My main purpose in life is to live to my full potential, raise happy, healthy children who are contributors to society.

What is your motto? 
Live life loud and proud!!!
